Launchpad delegates QB Thomas to Practice Squad

Could Thomas take the next step in 2015? Time will tell.
SIOUX FALLS - Logan Thomas may have gone undrafted, but not unnoticed. In the desert he's been able to thrive in coach Bruce Arians' quarterback-friendly system along with not feeling the pressure of being the immediate starter. Launchpad GM Jake Iversen also has his starter firmly in place meaning Thomas can sit back and learn his craft as the heir apparent in Arizona. Much like Ben Roethlisberger in his prime, Thomas has the mobility and strength to buy buy time and make plays develop. Accuracy was a problem spot in college but through three preseason games it's a habit that looks to be corrected.
When Thomas is ready to take the reins he'll have a pretty potent offense to run. Receiver Michael Floyd should be well established and the rookies John and Jaron Brown could make for an exciting tandem. Question marks include a patchy offensive line and the lack of a pass-catching tight end, could Troy Niklas be the missing piece? We will just have to wait and see.
