Murray and Niklas riding "Gravy Train" Caboose

Niklas and Murray will look to make an impact in 2015
SIOUX FALLS - With the roster deadline rapidly approaching, the Manning Gravy Train is getting ahead of the momentum by designating quarterback Aaron Murray and tight end Troy Niklas for the practice squad. The move ends the season for these two players but GM Ronald Hawkins sees plenty potential for future development.
Better luck next year Andy
Murray may be currently unemployed as he is buried on the Kansas City Chief's roster but Hawkins believes the gunslinger from Georgia is ready to take the reins.
"Let's not forget what Andy (Reid) can do with lesser-known quarterbacks," Hawkins told the members of the media."I think Murray will be ready to make the most of his opportunity."
Hawkins went on to say that he believes this training camp was awash due to Murray's late season injury in college.

As for the 'golden-domer' in the desert, Troy Niklas is having a hard time catching on with Bruce Arians' high octane offense.  In College, Niklas was a stud pass catcher with suspect blocking. It's a trait that will probably keep him from making an impact this season. Hawkins wisely made the move to delegate the tight end and see what he's capable of before he invests long-term.
