Here's my last minute musings before tomorrow's draft. Sorry, I don't have the patience to find GIFs or appropriate JPGs. Just enjoy the fact that I found time to put this into production.
(At time of publication: my kids are screaming, my wife is losing her mind, I'm petting my dog and pretending I don't hear anything...)
Kyle
For a team that has multiple needs, CEH is the best talent that can make an impact right away. plus based on the team picking second, he'll still get a top tier franchise QB at 1.3
1.2
- Jonathan Taylor, Colts
Josiah
One could argue for J.K. Dobbins with this selection so that Josiah would own the premiere back for one of the more prolific offenses in the NFL, but Taylor should get the reigns from day one. He also won't have to compete with Lamar Jackson for goal line work.
1.3
- Joe Burrow, Bengals
Kyle
As long as trades don't derail this dream, Kyle will have snagged the top player at two positions giving his squad quite a boost.
1.4
- J.K. Dobbins, Ravens
Scott
J.K. may not get the work right away in Baltimore but he should settle in nicely for the dynasty forming along the Chesapeake Bay. Scott will happily make this selection.
1.5
- Tua Tagovailoa, Dolphins
Matt
There's quite a strong stable of bellcows on Matt's roster and his pass-catching corps should be serviceable enough to warrant grabbing a franchise QB. I believe the hip is fine and we will witness a revival in Miami.
1.06
- D’Andre Swift, Lions
Joey
Acquiring Teddy Bridgewater helped stop the bleeding at the QB position and allows Joey to grab the talented Swift. If Tua is there, he's the selection, but getting this PPR hero will help keep his squad relevant.
1.07
- Justin Herbert, Chargers
Spencer
At first glance, I thought JOSH Allen was on this roster instead of BRANDON Allen. So QB has to be a priority and Justin Herbert fits the description. I think he gets enough playing time and has a talented supporting cast to boost his fantasy output.
1.08
- Cam Akers, Rams
Brett
The fact that the Rams used their very limited draft capital on a RB when they had other pressing needs shows how much they value Akers. Brett drafts for need at this selection here.
1.09
- CeeDee Lamb, Cowboys
Scott
By all rights, Lamb should not be here but that's why mock drafts are fun. Lamb is an excellent selection.
1.10
- Jerry Jeudy, Broncos
Casey
This is where things get complicated as it really becomes personal preference. I think Jeudy's pedigree warrants the selection in a high powered division where you need to score plenty of points each week.
1.11
- Justin Jefferson, Vikings
Scott
When in doubt regarding a Wideout, choose the better QB. Jefferson should line up in the slot and get a heaping helping of Kirk Cousins' high percentage passes.
1.12
- Henry Ruggs III, Raiders
Brady
I mean, he was the first WR selected and ran the fastest at the combine. He's gotta be good right? No way this becomes another DHB situation right? Oh... he was selected by the Raiders too? Yikes.
